These terms cover the use of sponsormypin.com. By listing your X account, paying for a sponsorship, or using the site, you agree to them. Questions: [email protected].
1. What sponsormypin is
sponsormypin.com is a marketplace for pinned-post sponsorships on X. Creators list their X profile and a monthly price. Sponsors pay that price to have a post of their choice pinned to the top of the creator's profile for one calendar month. On the site a Creator is called a builder, and, inside a booked deal, the host.
We are the marketplace and the seller of record for payment purposes: the sponsor pays us, we hold the payment, and we pay the creator after the work is verified. The sponsorship itself is a deal between the creator and the sponsor. We are not a party to it. Each deal has its own written sponsorship agreement that both sides sign on this site.
sponsormypin.com is operated from Singapore.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and able to enter contracts. Sponsors confirm that they buy sponsorships solely in the course of business, for advertising a business, product, or service. The site is not for personal or household purchases.
Creators must personally control the X account they list. Listing an account you do not control is fraud and we remove it.
3. Accounts and identity
Creators verify their X account when they list it. Sponsors do not need an account to pay: the email address given at checkout identifies the sponsor, and the private deal link shown after payment manages the deal. Keep that link secret; anyone who has it can see and change the deal's post. When login is available, the checkout email is also the login identity.
You are responsible for what happens through your links, logins, and listings.
4. Listings
Listing is free. A creator sets a monthly price between $50 and $10,000. For larger deals, email us.
Creators promise that the follower counts and other numbers they provide are accurate. Numbers we could not verify are shown as provided by the creator. We may remove or refuse any listing at any time, with or without notice, including for inaccurate numbers, impersonation, or content we do not want on the marketplace.
When a creator verifies with X, we read their public profile and statistics about their recent posts through the X API: follower and following counts, verification status, account age, bio, and recent posts' impressions, likes, and profile clicks. We store these numbers and show the audience-relevant ones publicly on the listing. Creators can refresh them from the dashboard; we do not read private messages and we cannot post or change anything on X.
A creator can pause or remove a listing by emailing us. Removal does not cancel deals that are already paid.
5. Booking and payment
A sponsor books the next open calendar month at the listed price. All prices are in US dollars. Payment is by card through Stripe, our payment processor, and is charged in full when the booking is made. The charge appears on the card statement as SPONSORMYPIN. The sponsor receives a receipt from Stripe.
We hold the payment until the work is verified as described in section 7. We do not pay interest on held amounts. Booking a month means exactly one thing: the sponsor's approved post stays pinned to the top of the creator's X profile for that calendar month.
6. The sponsorship agreement
Every deal has a written sponsorship agreement on this site that states the parties, the month, the amount, the payout, and each side's promises. The sponsor signs it when sending the post. The creator signs it before the deal can proceed. Signatures are typed names, stored with a timestamp and the version of the agreement text that was signed. The signed agreement is between the creator and the sponsor.
7. Delivery, verification, and when payment becomes final
The creator must pin the sponsor's post within 24 hours of the booked month starting and keep it pinned for the whole calendar month.
We check that the pin is live. When we verify it, the sponsor's payment becomes final. We keep records of our verification.
If the pin is not live within 24 hours of the booked month starting, the sponsor gets a full refund. That is the one case in which a refund is owed.
8. If a creator removes the pin early
If a creator removes a paid pin before the month ends and does not restore it promptly:
- The creator forfeits that month's payout in full.
- The creator's listing is removed from the marketplace.
- The sponsor's payment remains final. We do not owe the sponsor a refund, because our role, collecting the payment and verifying that the pin went live, was completed.
- The sponsor's remedy is against the creator under the signed sponsorship agreement, which the creator broke.
We may, entirely at our own choice, refund some or all of a payment as goodwill. Doing it once does not oblige us to do it again.
9. Creator obligations
Creators must:
- pin the exact post supplied by the sponsor, without edits, within 24 hours of the month starting, and keep it pinned all month;
- mark the pinned post as sponsored content, for example with #sponsored, and follow the advertising disclosure rules that apply to them;
- provide accurate audience numbers;
- give us information we reasonably need to verify their identity before we pay out, and their own payout details;
- handle their own taxes on payouts.
Creators may decline any sponsor or post before payment is made. After payment, the deal stands unless both sides agree otherwise.
10. Sponsor obligations
Sponsors must:
- supply a post that is legal, accurate, and follows the X rules;
- not supply content that is misleading, that infringes anyone's rights, or that advertises products or services that are illegal in Singapore or in the audience's market, including content that is sexual, gambling-related without required licences, or otherwise restricted;
- accept that we and the creator can each refuse a post; if no replacement is agreed and the pin never goes live, the sponsor is refunded in full;
- accept that payment is final once we verify the pin is live.
11. What we do not promise
We sell a placement: a defined post pinned on a defined profile for a defined month. We do not promise or sell impressions, views, clicks, engagement, followers, sales, or any other result. Audience numbers shown on listings are inputs for the sponsor's own judgement, not a promise of performance.
X is not our platform. We are not responsible for X outages, account suspensions, feature changes, or reach changes. If X suspends a creator's account mid-month, we treat it like an early pin removal under section 8, except that the creator does not forfeit the payout when the suspension was outside their control; in that case we decide a fair split of held funds and our decision is final.
12. Payouts to creators
After the booked month completes with the pin verified live, we pay the creator the deal amount minus our 10 percent fee. Payouts are made manually to the payout method agreed with the creator. We may withhold a payout while a deal is under review for fraud, a broken agreement, or a payment dispute, and we may deduct amounts we refunded or lost to a chargeback caused by the creator's breach.
13. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If a sponsor disputes a card charge, we answer the dispute using the records of the deal, including the signed agreement and our verification records. A sponsor who disputes a charge for a deal that was delivered as agreed breaks these terms. If we lose funds to a chargeback on a deal a creator broke, we may recover the amount from that creator's payouts.
14. Our role in disagreements
Disagreements about the sponsorship itself, for example about the post's content or an early removal, are between the creator and the sponsor under their signed agreement. We are not obliged to mediate, though we may choose to. Sections 7 and 8 already fix what happens to the money we hold, and those rules apply regardless of the outcome between the parties.
15. Acceptable use
Do not: misrepresent who you are or what you control; manipulate or fabricate audience numbers; create fake demand or fake offers; scrape the site; probe or break its security; upload malware; use the site for anything illegal. We may suspend or remove any listing, deal participant, or login that breaks these rules, in serious cases without notice.
16. Content and media
Sponsors keep ownership of the posts and media they supply and give the creator permission to publish them on X for the deal, and give us permission to store and show them to the parties and to use them to run the deal. Creators keep ownership of their own profiles and content. We keep all rights to the site, its software, name, and design.
If both sides opt in, we may announce a completed deal publicly, naming the creator, the sponsor, and the price. Without both opt-ins we announce nothing that identifies the parties.
17. Data
We store what the deal needs: handles, emails, prices, posts, media, signatures, and payment status. Card details go to Stripe, not to us. The privacy policy explains the rest.
18. No warranty
The site is provided as is. We work to keep it fast, secure, and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service.
19. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows: our total liability to a sponsor or creator for any claim connected to a deal is limited to the fee we earned on that deal; our total liability for any other claim is limited to one hundred US dollars. We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business, or lost data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing in these terms limits the rights of a person dealing as a consumer under laws that protect consumers.
20. Indemnity
If your content, your conduct, or your breach of these terms or of a sponsorship agreement causes a claim against us by anyone, you will cover our losses and reasonable costs from that claim. For sponsors this includes claims about the content of their post. For creators this includes claims arising from removing a paid pin early or listing an account they do not control.
21. Ending things
You can stop using the site at any time. Creators can ask us to remove their listing and, once their deals are settled, their data. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Deals already paid are wound up under sections 7, 8, and 12.
If we shut the marketplace down, we will give at least 14 days notice on the site, complete or refund every open deal, and pay out every verified completed month.
22. Changes
We may update these terms. Changes appear on this page with a new date. A change applies to deals booked and listings accepted after it takes effect; the version you accepted governs deals made under it.
23. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Singapore. Talk to us first: most problems are fixed by email. Any dispute that cannot be settled informally will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Singapore.
